GFP Graffitied Box Cars

All of the cars are hand-weathered based off real life box cars I have either taken pictures of while out train watching, or that I have found pictures of in various train books.

First, I find the picture that best fits the car. Next, I begin the hand-graffiti – which depending on the car, can take several hours to complete. After that, I apply a layer of weathering, then follow that up with a fresh layer of graffiti.

Lastly, I add the wheels and trucks and apply a final layer of weathering to finish it off.
